Macomb County Funeral Home Master Index
If you have not used the Macomb County Funeral Home Master Index http://offserv.libcoop.net/mtc/funeralhomes.asp , you might be pleasantly surprised. There are now over 92,500 names in this index, including many from Oakland and Wayne Counties, as many of these Funeral Homes originated in those counties. These abstracted records, available at the Mount Clemens Public Library usually give the date and place of birth and death, place of burial, name of parents, and spouse, and sometimes other information.
Mt. Olivet and Mt. Elliott Cemetery index now online
The Mount Elliott Cemetery Association - Many of their burial records have been converted to an electronic database and some information may be available online. http://www.mtelliott.com/genealogy
